I’m a lowly writer. I am a lazy writer. I am a published writer (in a very vague way). I am always striving to learn. One day I’d like to finish a book, or be published again. This blog is called “Damn Dreams” because writing has always been a damn dream of mine. Damn it.

About My Damn Life
I grew up in a little town, or more precisely in the middle of nowhere twelve miles from a little town. You may have heard of it? Newport, Washington. Of course I had a different name back then - Dawn Rusho. I got married, see, and so that changed to Dawn Olmo. I am thinking about writing under pseudonyms though. Dawn is just such a boring name.
I’ve been married for 13 years, and we have a 12 year old (oh my god, she’s twelve) and a 4 year old and a 2 year old. I’m pregnant! We’re hoping for a boy, but will be blessed if we have another healthy girl. (The above 3 are girls.)
About My Damn Schooling
I received my AA in Liberal Arts in June of 2006. I am attending Eastern Washington University to continue my education, with the goal of receiving a bachelor’s degree sometime in the next 2 years.
About My Damn Webpages
I think making websites is fun. It actually relaxes me. Granted, I take the easy path - using pre-made templates to base my sites off of. I never do this and claim the work my own, I always try to credit the original html author. However, as I said, I do enjoy it! I used becca’s template, thirteen, and made 13pink for jaded jennifer photography, for instance. I had to take her name off of the footer to place the copyright information there, but her name appears in the source code as well.
I also don’t mind helping out people who have questions, and while wordpress is new to me, I “get” most of it, and will gladly answer any questions.
